History of Facebook
History of Facebook is the story of a dare of a student. That student was Mr. Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, a student of the Harvard University of USA. Mark and his friend & college roommate and a fellow of Harvard university student Eduardo Saverin live in Bosten. A thought is run in Mark’s mind and they tried to live his thoughts. In 2004, they successes in connecting computers for chatting a group. On February 4, 2004, a social network service launched for Harvard students initially. After that, the service expanded up to other colleges of Boston Area, the levy League and gradually most of the universities in the USA and Canada, corporations and departments. Initially, to become a member of Facebook, a user along with a valid email address with age 13 years and older, become a member/user of Facebook. Currently, the main source of Facebook’s revenue is advertisements that appear on screen during uses. In 2004, Mark Zuckerberg developed Facebook’s predecessor. When Mark studied in his second year of college, he wrote a software for the Facemash website. This website was designed as a type of “hot or not” game for Harvard University’s students. Above website allowed visitors to compare two female student pictures side-by-side and let them decide that she was hot or not.
Now from January 21, 2015, Facebook’s algorithm is programmed to filter out false or misleading content, such as fake news, hoaxes, and stories, and will be supported by users who select the option to flag a story as “purposefully fake or deceitful news.
Now in 2018 Facebook working on a dating platform. It will help to meet people and date each other.
