Google Chrome New Update for Punishing to ‘Abusive Advertisements’
Google will have to take a big step to punish websites, who showing ‘Abusive Advertisements’ on Chrome browser version 71. Offenders will be blacklisting on first crime and after repeating the same, Google will punish them with hiding all the ads. This new update may be launched in December 2018. In this update, the search giant will be punishing websites with ‘Abusive Advertisements’ with hiding all the ads, not by blocking. Google find out ‘abusive’ such as phishing and malware elements, misleading or harm public‘s devices in any way or the other, show up in the form of system error messages, fake close boxes those start on click, advertisements.
Currently, Google Chrome protect users from ‘abusive ads’ with a certain level of security. Many times, Google Chrome blocking pop-ups or limiting auto-play of videos. But now, Chrome 71 make some more measures are about to get stricter and more robust. In this measure, if any website owner and his website have ‘abusive advertisements’, Google check them using own tool. If the owner’s website is found to have ‘abusive ads’, the search giant will give him 30 days to fix it, otherwise, his website will be blacklisting.
Google also released a list of ‘abusive’ declared content or ads. These ‘abusive ads’ are given below:-
Misleading Site Behaviour,
Unexpected Click Areas,
Malware or Unwanted Software,
